I painted the storage room and the only thing missing now is the door. Beti loves to be in the pictures.
Then Blake went to work on the storage along the walls. There will be an additional row of dowels added below this one, as well as a raised floor for storing all of the longer tools. We will add shelves for the hand tools.
And where are those tools now you ask…
It’s hard to imagine, but this is well organized compared to when we first arrived. It took me hours to sort it all out from the move. DeWit hand tools are on the right and Sneeboer hand tools are on the left. One of the former dressing rooms holds hoes and another contains the remaining Clarington Forge tools. The former trophy room is home to all of the rakes.
Blake spent hours cleaning the dust and grime off the floors to prepare for the concrete paint. He is just beginning the paint job today so pictures will follow in the next update.
