Garden Tool Company has moved to our new building at 3901 W. 88th Ave. in Westminster, CO, but we have a lot of work to do since the building was a dance studio before we bought it. We will be taking photos throughout the process and here are the first ones. This is the tool storage area at the west end of the building where we started the transition.
The first job was grinding the floor to level out the rough spots and bad patches after laminate floors and padding were removed.
Next we had to cover up all the spots were the mirrors were glued to the walls to prep for painting over the lovely – not – blue.
Then it was paint time. Just white since it is the tool storage room and boy did it get bright in there.
Here is the spot where we are putting the garage door back that was removed. Can you picture it?
Once it was all painted, Blake had to patch some holes in the wall before we can start adding the structures to hold the long tools along the walls.
And finally, one outside shot to show the paint picks. We will be using the darker brown on the bottom with the orange for an accent color, although it looks pretty red in this shot.
More to come….
